The Joint Admission Matriculation Board (JAMB) has made it official on the latest trending news today which has to do with Jamb cut-off mark for all respective candidates. Candidates will really need to seat up and as well check out the new updates and the reason why it was implemented.
It’s a pleasure we make it known to you all that JAMB disclosed this news on Tuesday. Note that this policy meeting was held online which is basically meant to reduce the cut-off mark for admission into tertiary institutions stands at 160 and above.
Jamb Registrar In the name of “Prof. Ishaq Oloyede” also added that respective polytechnics will now have to work with 120 and above while that of the Colleges of Education stands at 100 and above.
Furthermore, He also went on to make it known to all it may concern that a total of 612, 557 where candidates are been offered admission in 2019 just as he said about 510,957 admission spaces were unused by tertiary institutions in 2019.
Based on the statistics, we came to find out that based on the total number of 1,157,977 candidates who sat for UTME in 2019, Only 612,557 were admitted,” He went further to let us know that he will be opening address at the occasion.

The Minister of Education directed JAMB and tertiary institutions to quickly start-up with the processing of the admission for the 2020/2021 session. This is because admission processes are expected to commence in August based on the guidelines released by JAMB.
